I, strangely, have to agree with WAWA. IT can be dodgy if you go in a big convoy with a mix of experience and start early but if you keep your whits about you, have a good, small group and just keep on moving at a steady, comfortable pace you should be fine. The last time I went we got there at the begining and waited fro about two hours before setting off as we were watching the rest of the crazies at the "start line" revving their engines and acting like their life was on the line if they didn't finish first!

It is fun though. You just have to be sensible in your approach.

Sadly though, I might not be in the country then so probably won't be going AGAIN this year! :(

The regestrations for the GN Gun Drive will be opening next week so those who are interested should be ready to regester !

Its going to be a World Record attempt for largest off road convoy so close to 1000 cars are expected !

Going to be great fun

Booked myself and Wife into Premier Inn Dubai Silicon Oasis for the 10th, a bit of relaxation before the drive you know.

Let me know who's joining up, going to be a doooooooooooooooooooooozy but sorry, this time we will not be stopping to help others like last time, we only look after our own convoy.
