I shall stay well away.
The GN No-Fun Drive is an event that should be avoided at all costs. It is crazy, chaotic and rather unsafe. There may be plenty of good drivers on it, but it is also full of people with little experience and who have way too much enthusiasm and nowhere near enough skill.Mosalf wrote:To steal your phrase, Wetting pants in anticipation!

And you don't have to stop to recover any of the stuck cars you pass on the way. Just wave and drive on.
LOL .....it's mayhem and total chaos but that's what makes it so fun. Where else can you see burning Durango's crashed Xterras and the obligatory broken down Jeeps all at the same time.Richard Moss wrote:The GN No-Fun Drive is an event that should be avoided at all costs. Agree with richard there.
Hav been to one. And chaos every where.
Yes it was fun
But the one we did was in AD.
But during the whole thing there whrre cars stuck every whrre.
A lot of damage. An little help from the marshals.
You need eysa in the back of your head.
An nerves of steel.

Mosalf: do yourself a favour and find something else to do on those days: snake charming, alligator wrestling, chainsaw juggling etc.
Exactly my point. If a UAEO trip was run like that, the marshals in question would be demoted for their lack of professionalism. If your idea of "fun" is a dangerous, chaotic drive when participants are placed at unnecessary risk, then you really should question your own attitude to off-roading.Wasif Ahmed wrote:LOL .....it's mayhem and total chaos but that's what makes it so fun.
