If Sarami is public area, and nicely out of the way so we don't disturb anybody, then it's fair game.

Is it completely flat? It would be more interesting to have obstacles... like get an excavator in to dig a straight pit, push some dirt into a big mound right after it, and then maybe a half-circle channel, and then a perpendicular ditch... then we can put up tape and cones to keep the cars going in one direction for safety, and not have everyone zooming around in all directions. Basically make a circular track of muddy obstacles.

Can anyone check out Sarami and take a few pics? Is it next to tarmac (you can bet every 4x4 passing will come join us 8) and is it the kind of place anyone will feel it's inappropriate to be playing with 4x4s? Like near villas, or farms, or government buildings... I love to play, but it's fair to respect other users of the land who might not like 20+ heavy-duty off-roaders churning up their land!

EDIT: look how deep the canyons got 8) When it rains again, i'll be checking out that area for sure! (and you'll know within the hour, too!!!)

Nice shots PR. That looks like the worst nightmare offroaders can encounter. Imagine u comming from the other side, it is a long drop down.

BTW, this Serami idea looks interesting, and is do-able.:smiley8:

Isn't that where you broke your JK's differential, Marshoudi?, trying to recover all those FJ's stuck in the mud:confused::smiley11::smiley10:

You guys ready for the rains?

We need a spot picked out and ready, obstacles in place (or it will just be a flat mud pit with chaos) and then someone close by to keep an eye on it and sound the bugle (like a trumpet!!! to call everyone there! 8)

This Saramy place is good and decided? I've got Al Ain Rain Canyons under my eye... still no wet...

Rains will be soon, Inshallah!!!!

My advice is before the Mud Fest to get under your car with a tub of grease - every important moving part, every bushing, just liberally cover with grease. Just where the moving parts connect. There's not that many. That will keep the muddy water out, and after it will be clean with the normal diesel full wash. Just tell the wash guys you'll pay them extra and they'll do it. And take pics!! LOL

At the Mud Fest bring extra water and a rag to at least wipe down the windows before driving on tarmac.
