As PR said, grease is key. You can buy white lithium grease in spray cans and use that if you don't fancy hand balling grease all over your rig and hands. The spray cans should do the majority of movables, maybe two to be sure. I hope it rains soon as I am out of action after the next few weeks due to baby duties!

I have to say , i had 2 scary encounters with mud this weekend. 1 with the jeep in dhabeya on the 1 of the wet muddy sabkha's (interconnecting road between aryam island and dhabeya was under construction, so went offroad instead of going all the way back to tarif highway and back to dhabeya) Thank god managed to get through the mud and join the road agian as fast as possible. Got to beach house in dhabeya, checked the car and by the looks of the wheels, i had gone up to the rim bolts in deep mud!! FIRST TRIUMPH In MUD.
And 2nd encounter was yesterday in Al Wathba with my trust Chevrolet Avalanche. Yes My Avalanche. Coming back from my friends stables, decided to take a shortcut from gatch road to tarmack road and hit a patch of thick MUD. even though i managed to engage the 4wheel drive system while on the move and car was reving at a steady 25000 Rpms, managed to slowly wiggle myslef out of the mud. felt like a glaidator walking out alive from the colossuem after a victorious bloodbath. My adrenalin was so pumped after both incidents but dont want to do that again for a while. SCARY!! especially when driving to my freinds stables in al wathba and already seeing an abandoned Titan which seemed to have been there a whole day already stuck in the mud up to its doors!! So imagine seeing that and then you getting stuck in the dark yourself in the mud. SCARY!!!!!
These are my 2 recent encounters in mud and Triumphs but wont be doing that again for a while!

There is a huge swamp just opposite our area, Al Falah, and adjacent to the Sweihan highway. It is water-clogged and has been like that forever. Anyone wants to try it, call me:smiley8:
