No need Habibi...just lift off the gas and change gear is all that required.

The geatshift from top is automatic and if you bring the shifter down to the bottom you can shift manually thru all the gears !

LIFT OFF THE GAS?????? what does that mean?

I just finished a motorbike testride, and a 125cc at that, and guys I got to tell there's no real driving unless it's old skool manual gears! The bike really brought that home to me - the feeling you get from pulling a gear and then shifting manually can never be had in an auto triptronic electrotrickery gear box. And the fact it was a small engine, I enjoyed it even more because you can really pull those gears!!!! With powerful bikes you can't, because they're just too fast...I mean, I will never exit a roundabout doing 120kph, but with this little bike I could exit screaming out of 2nd shifting into 3rd as I straightened out... priceless feeling!!!!

I think we've kind of lost track of the feeling of the drive... I think my next project will be a little Suzuki!!!! with manual gears, naturally!

Actually one really doesnt have to lift off the gas period.

You bring the shifter down all the way to the bottom of the gate and then shift each gear manually at your convenience and that too without having to depress any clutch pedal....
